Authorities are looking for a man accused of starting a fire at a Denny's restaurant.
It happened at the Denny's at 6110 IH 35 North near Rittiman Road.
According to authorities, two men entered the restaurant around 3:18 a.m. on Dec. 16th. After 20 minutes, the suspects became dissatisfied with their service and got up and placed their menus at the server station, authorities said.
Next, investigators said the suspect in the grey hooded sweatshirt is seen lighting something and throwing it into a Christmas tree. The suspects then walked out of the establishment and drove away, investigators said.
The burning object then spread to the tree, which became fully engulfed in seconds. The resulting fire caused an estimated $150,000 in damages and endangered the lives of 20 patrons and workers, investigators said.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of person responsible for the arson.
