A man was arrested Friday night after police say he attacked an officer and another woman.

It happened about 10:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of W. Summitt.

Police say the man cut a woman during a domestic disturbance inside a home and then walked away.

An officer saw the man walking and ordered him to stop. 

The man did not cooperate and lunged for the officer's gun. 

A short skuffle began but the officer was able to get the man under control.

He was charged with one count of assaulting a police officer and one count of domestic disturbance.
