Man falls to death from San Antonio mall parking garage

A man died when he fell eight stories from the Rivercenter Mall parking garage early Sunday morning.

Police were called to the garage in the 800 block of East Commerce Street just after midnight after the man reportedly fell and landed between two buildings.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Police said two people were with the victim at the time of the incident.

They were taken in for questioning and to determine whether the victim jumped, accidentally fell or was pushed, San Antonio police said.
