DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say a man has been fatally shot outside a pub while trying to stop a robbery and the gunman ran away.

Police say two other people escaped injury in the gunfire early Thursday in the parking lot of Sherlock's Baker St. Pub & Grill. The search continues for the unidentified gunman.

The name of the slain man has not been released.

Further details were not immediately available on the attack outside the pub in North Dallas.
