A San Antonio man who, along with his brother, was accused of kidnapping then raping a 13-year-old girl over a period of two weeks, was found guilty on Tuesday on multiple charges.
The jury found Bobby Moreno, 43, guilty on a count of trafficking of persons, super-aggravated sexual assault of a child, aggravated kidnapping and compelling prostitution.
For that, Moreno received two life sentences, plus an additional 90 years, without the possibility of parole.
Prosecutors said Moreno and his brother, Juan Moreno, repeatedly raped the girl during two weeks of captivity in 2007 and that they sold her for sex to about a dozen other men.
They said the brothers also tied her to a bed and injected her with drugs to keep her from escaping their East side crack den.
Juan Moreno was found guilty of super aggravated assault and kidnapping and sentenced to four life prison terms without the possibility of parole 18 months ago.
