SAN ANTONIO -

A man was rushed to the hospital after a rollover accident early Sunday morning.

It happened just before 2 a.m. on Highway 90 East near Ray Ellison.

Police say a SUV was traveling westbound when it lost control, hit the median, and rolled over several times before landing on the eastbound lanes.

The two men inside the car were ejected.

One man was found in the middle of the highway.  He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.

The other man took off on foot.

The SAPD's helicopter Eagle and K-9 Unit were called in to search for the man who took off in a nearby field.
