Driver lost control on Interstate 10 East at Vega Drive

SAN ANTONIO -

A man was hospitalized after he rolled his car several times on the Northwest Side early Friday morning.

Police responded to the single-car crash just before 2:30 a.m. on the access road of Interstate 10 East and Vega Drive near Callaghan Road.

Police say the driver entered the entrance ramp and a high rate of speed and lost control of the car.

The driver was taken to University Hospital and was expected to recover, police said. Police have not said if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
