Man killed crossing Interstate 10
Man believed to be homeless, driver stopped to render aid

A man died after he was run over on Interstate 10 Wednesday evening.
Police said the accident happened around 8 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of the interstate near La Cantera Parkway.
Police said a man believed to be in 60s was running across when he was struck by a ca.
He was rushed to University Hospital and died of his injuries a short time later.
Police said the driver stopped and is not expected to face charges.
The man's name has not been released, but police believe he was homeless.
The eastbound lanes were shut down for a few hours while officials cleared the scene.
