A man's early morning drive ended with a crash when he flipped his ride and slid into a fence.

Police say the man crashed as he drove on Hillcrest just north of Bandera around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

They say he apparently tried to take a curve too fast, hit a curb and flipped his SUV.

The vehicle then skidded into that fence.

The man was hurt but able to crawl from the wrecked SUV.

EMS transported him to the hospital..
