Taylor Patterson, 22, is accused of repeatedly sending unwanted emails to a woman, even after police told him to stop.

Patterson claimed it was all an accident and that he meant to send the messages to someone else in his online address book.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a 20-year-old woman reported the situation to San Antonio police on Feb. 18, saying that she had received multiple unwanted emails from Patterson.

The affidavit stated that in several of the emails, Patterson talked about a woman who jilted him.

The victim told police, although she and Patterson never dated and had been only friends, she believes he purposely sent the emails to her as a way “to intimidate her,” the affidavit stated.

Patterson told investigators the messages were actually meant for a friend, not for the woman.

However, police said although they ordered Patterson to remove the woman’s name from his computer, he continued sending her emails, the affidavit stated.

He was arrested Wednesday on a charge of harassment.
