A northeast side bar brawl has left a man in critical condition, and police searching for clues about his stabbing.
Police responded to a call at a bar in the 5600 block of Randolph Blvd. around 1:45 Saturday morning.
They say a fight broke out between a couple and that man.
When the fight ended they say the victim realized he'd been stabbed.
A friend drove him to nearby Northeast Methodist Hospital.
But police say that hospital does not have a trauma center, so the victim had to be transported to University Hospital.
Investigators say he was listed in critical condition with a stab wound to the stomach.
Police are now working to piece together how the victim was stabbed, and who stabbed him.
