Man stabbed to death at Texans watch party

A man was stabbed to death at a Houston Texans watch party Sunday night in northeast Houston, police said.

Detectives said the victim was at a home on McEwen Street and Cavalcade Street around 10 p.m. when a fight broke out. The victim's family told Local 2 he tried to break up the fight. That is when someone pulled a knife and stabbed the victim, officials said.

He was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital, where he died.

The suspect fled the scene.

Police said they do not know the suspect's identity.
