Man wanted for shooting death in northeast San Antonio
Anthony Melvin shot at home on Corian Glen; 1 suspect identified as DeVante Jackson
San Antonio police have identified a suspect wanted for the murder of a 27-year-old man on the Northeast Side.
DeVante Jackson, 19, is sought in connection with the shooting death of Anthony Melvin in the 2600 block of Corian Glen Drive.
Melvin was shot Thursday afternoon and later died from his injuries.
Jackson was seen fleeing the scene in a white Dodge Charger or Challenger with distinctive rims and tinted windows, according to a SAPD press release.
Officers at the scene said four men reportedly showed up to the home in three different vehicles around 3 p.m.
Police said they went into the garage and shots were fired. One man was taken into custody while the other two fled, according to SAPD. Jackson is believed to be one of the other suspects.
