Suspect fled with cash after robbery on San Pedro at Huisache

A man wearing a surgical mask robbed a near North Side gas station at gunpoint Sunday evening.
Police responded to the armed robbery around 8:30 p.m at the Ameritex gas station on San Pedro and Huisache.
According to the clerk, a man in a surgical mask indicated that he had a gun and ordered the employee to hand over cash from the register.
He then fled on foot in an unknown direction. San Antonio police are reviewing surveillance video of the robbery to get more information.
