Churchill grad found dead inside burning car outside Waco

SAN ANTONIO -

A memorial service is set for Monday for Baylor University freshman and Churchill High School graduate William Patterson, 18.

Patterson's body was found Thursday in the back seat of his burned car outside Waco in a remote part of McLennan County. McLennan County authorities are still investigating Patterson's death.

The sheriff's office said nothing has been officially ruled out though family friends have reportedly said foul play is not suspected in Patterson's death.

His body was sent to Dallas for an autopsy and positive identification.     

William Patterson's visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Monday and his memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Woodland Baptist Church at 15315 Huebner Road.
