Motorcyclist not seriously injured despite not wearing helmet

SAN ANTONIO -

A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries after he was cut off and then struck by a car on the near Northwest Side.

The motorcyclist was headed on Culebra at 24th Street when he was struck by a small car around midnight, San Antonio police said.

The motorcyclist walked away from the crash with cuts to the head. Police said he was not wearing a helmet.

The driver of the car also suffered some minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. No word if charges will be filed against the driver of the car.
