Mysterious flash seen in sky
People claim to see it across Texas

People across Texas -- from Dallas to Houston-- claimed to see a mysterious flash in the sky on Friday.
Around 6:45 a.m., KSAT 12's sister station, KPRC-TV in Houston, received calls and Facebook comments from all over Texas regarding a flash of light in the sky.
One witness in Bellville claimed to see a bright green flash, some saw a blue flash, others saw an orange flash and some spotted a red flash with a tail.
The National Weather Service said it could be the start of a meteor shower that was supposed to hit next week.
