NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -

A New Braunfels woman has been arrested in the sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy.

According to New Braunfels police, Valorie Martinez Baker, 38, has been charged with sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.

Detectives began investigating this case after a 15-year-old male made an outcry that Baker had had inappropriate sexual contact with him inside the city of New Braunfels' jurisdiction.

Investigators said the incident occurred on Dec. 21, 2012, and that Baker is a friend of the victim's family.

Baker was arrested and booked in to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office under a $100,000 bond.
