NISD teacher investigated for inappropriate relationship

Middle school teacher placed on administrative leave

SAN ANTONIO -

Northside Independent School District officials say a middle school teacher has been placed on administrative leave for inappropriate contact with a student.

An NISD spokesperson said the female teacher at Sam Rayburn Middle School is accused of inappropriate communication and conduct with a male 8th grade student.

School officials say they are cooperating with San Antonio police to investigate the incident.  The district did not give any other details.
