The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has identified a body found nude and bruised on the East Side as 24-year-old Stephanie Garcia.

Garcia's body was found along Roland Avenue on the morning of Oct. 3 by a passing bicyclist.

Investigators say Garcia had bruising around her throat and scratches on her thighs.

The medical examiner has not determined a cause of death. Police are investigating Garcia's death as a homicide.
