New Seguin development brings jobs
Assembly building and warehouse set for construction
Dallas-based commercial real estate development firm, Bandera Ventures, says it will build a 300,000 square foot assembly and warehouse building in Seguin.
Bandera Ventures says the building will be located on a 26 acre tract of land on FM 464, west of the Caterpillar plant. The project is expected to create over $12.5 million in new capital investment and create 65 new jobs.
As part of 5 year incentive package, the company says the City of Seguin, Guadalupe County, and area school districts are expected to bring in more than $1 million in new property tax revenue.
Two tenants have been secured for the new building: Gray Interplant Systems and FCA Packaging, which are both Caterpillar suppliers.
