New locations announced for downtown food truck program

The city's pilot program runs until October 31.

SAN ANTONIO -

The city of San Antonio Monday announced new locations for mobile food trucks to operate downtown. The locations are part of the city's new mobile food truck pilot program.

Food trucks will now be located in Main Plaza on Monday and Thursday, Travis Park on Tuesday and Friday and the Weston Centre on Soledad on Wednesday. The food trucks will be operating from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Tuesday, June 19, several of the mobile food trucks will be at Travis Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of Downtown Tuesday when parking downtown is free.

The city has been working with mobile food truck vendors on locations since the start of the pilot program on May 1. The city said the new locations are easily accessible.
