Northside Independent School District expects a record number of students to enroll in its Pre-Kindergarten program this school year, and encourages parents to register their children on time.
The district is currently holding pre-registration for its Pre-Kinder program.
Parents wanting to enroll their children are required to bring proof of residency (such as a utility bill), their child’s immunization records, and their child’s original birth certificate.
Parents with children who will be receiving assistance from the district should also bring a current pay stub.
A list of necessary items, and schedules for which schools register at which time can be found on the district’s website.
Parents who miss this week’s registration won’t be able to register their child until Aug. 1, and may not get their child into the school closest to their home.
