Orlando police: Man threatens to 'chop off head' of teen over noise complaint
Man charged with aggravated assault after making threats with machete
Orlando police have arrested a man who they say threatened to chop off a 16-year-old's head with a machete for making a noise complaint against him on Tuesday night.
Miguel Baez, 63, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he threatened the teen.
Police said the victim approached Baez's room at a hotel after hearing loud noises and asked Baez to keep the noise level down in his room.
Baez then took a machete and told the victim if he "knocked on the door again, I'm going to cut your head off,"according to the report.
Police searched Baez's room just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday and found the machete and 22.5 grams of marijuana, resulting in him being charged with drug possession, according to the report.
