A man was hospitalized after he was struck by a car just north of downtown San Antonio.

San Antonio police said the driver was headed down Navarro Street when he struck a man jaywalking near Dallas Street around 10 p.m. Monday.

The 50-year-old pedestrian was taken to University Hospital for treatment. Police have not how badly he was hurt.

Police said the driver, a man in his 60s, stopped to render aid and was not expected to face charges.
