Phil Lane was named vice president and general manager of KSAT 12 in August.

Phil joined KSAT 12 from WSPA-TV/WYCW-TV, the Media General (CBS/CW) duopoly in Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C.

Originally from South Carolina, Phil has been the general manager at the ABC affiliate in Augusta, Ga., and the CBS affiliate in Columbus, Ga.

Prior to becoming a general manager, Phil had an impressive record serving as national sales manager for WSPA-TV and as an account executive with media rep firm, Blair.

Phil says he looks forward to joining the community, meeting South Texas viewers and becoming a part of local community organizations.

Phil and his wife, Beth, have a son, Christopher.
