Police: Man attacked, may have been stabbed with own knife in downtown San Antonio
Victim stabbed 3 times in back outside St. Anthony Hotel
Four people are sought by San Antonio police after they allegedly attacked a man with what may have been his own knife outside the St. Anthony Hotel downtown.
San Antonio police responded to the 300 block of E. Travis around 2:30 a.m. Monday and found a man who had been stabbed three times in the back.
Detectives at the scene said the victim may have been intoxicated.
They also said they received reports that he may have been waving a knife at his attackers, who then took it away from him.
The man who was stabbed was rushed to University Hospital in serious condition, detectives said. The four other men ran away before police arrived.
