Two parents were arrested for physically abusing their daughter, police said.
The San Antonio Police Department said the child's parents, Mauricio Cisneros Ramirez, 28, and Belinda Lopez, 29, called 911 Saturday to get help for a child having seizures.
An EMS crew responded to the call on Sun Valley Drive on the city's far West side.
The crew suspected physical abuse when they noticed that the girl was suffering from multiple injuries in various stages of healing, police said.
"It was discovered the child was suffering from several severe injuries, including, large broken bones, cerebral hemorrhaging, cerebral injuries, just a variety of grave injuries," said Sergeant Javier Salazar.
The two-year-old was last reported to be in critical condition at Methodist Hospital.
Salazar said there were several other children at home at the time, but they were removed by Child Protective Services.
"It is fortunate that the other children were taken from the home before anything could come to them," said Salazar. "And, we certainly hope the best for the little girl who is in the hospital right now."
Both Ramirez and Lopez face charges of injury to a child.
