A man was arrested early Sunday morning after crashing into a police car, and investigators suspect he was driving drunk.

It happened about 3 a.m. near I-35 and Alamo Street.

Police say an officer was setting up flares at an accident scene when a truck slammed into his police car.

The officer was not hurt, but his car was heavily damaged.

The driver of the truck failed a sobriety test at the scene.  He was arrested and charged with a DWI.
