A woman and two juveniles were detained by San Antonio police in connection with a drive-by shooting and chase on the Northwest Side early Friday morning.

Police received a call for shots fired just after midnight near Blanco Road and Gramercy Place. Officers investigated, but were not able to find the suspects.

A few hours later, an officer spotted the suspects' vehicle and a chase ensued for about seven or eight blocks.

The vehicle finally stopped and officers took a woman in her early 20s and two juvenile males into custody.

Police have not said if the three would face any charges, but several shell casings were found in the car. Investigators believe no one was hit during the initial drive-by shooting.
