SAN ANTONIO -

The San Antonio Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a burglary suspect.

The man is wanted for a burglary at 5 Star Gas at 2302 Southeast Military Drive on March 8.

Police said the front glass window of the place was smashed in, but the metal burglar case was still locked and it appears the burglar squeezed his way through a gap in the cage door.

Police said there were packs of cigarettes on the ground outside the door. They also discovered blood outside the glass door and on the register.

Surveillance video showed the armed suspect throwing a rock through the glass front door. The burglar then rummaged through items behind the counter.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or his whereabouts is urged to call SAPD Detective Jose Limon at 210-207-7334.
