A woman was pulled out her vehicle early Friday morning after her vehicle struck a guardrail and flipped between the east and westbound lanes of Loop 410.
Police responded to the single-car crash just after midnight. They said the 49-year-old driver was headed east on Loop 410 between Interstate 10 and Fredericksburg Road when it struck the guardrail and rolled.
Rescue crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get her out of the car.
She was taken to University Hospital with serious injuries. Police said speed was a factor in the crash, but didn't say if alcohol was a factor.
