A robber struck at a southeast San Antonio bank Saturday afternoon, and police say he might have worn a fake beard.
Police answered a robbery call at the Compass bank in the 1000 block of Goliad Rd. just after noon.
Bank staff said a man had walked up to a clerk and handed them a note demanding cash.
After the clerk handed the money over the robber took off on foot.
The bank workers said that thief might have worn a fake beard.
Police searched the area around the bank on the ground and from the air but could not find any sign of the robber.
The bank does have surveillance video of the robber.
