SAN ANTONIO -

A pair of suspected robbers who could be linked to several other crimes were arrested Sunday evening in connection with a holdup at a Taco Cabana.

Andrew Mendoza, 29, and Juan Jose Ramirez Jr., 34, were picked up separately after an armed robbery at the Taco Cabana at Malone and Interstate 35 Around 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

San Antonio police investigators spotted Mendoza's vehicle at a home on Quintana Road and arrested him. Police arrested Ramirez a short time later and said the pair could be linked to more crimes.

"The method of operation used this morning matches the method of operation from the Taco Cabana so we're looking at possibly five or six other locations following this one," said Sgt. Daniel Alonzo with the SAPD Robbery Task Force.

Mendoza and Ramirez were both charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, but could face more charges as police continue their investigation.
