One person is dead after a blowout caused an SUV to roll on Loop 410 just south of E. Houston. Saturday afternoon.

Just after 3:30, police said the driver of that SUV apparently over-corrected after the blowout. The SUV then flipped tossing a passenger out a window.

23 year-old James Garcia was riding in the back of that SUV.

He suffered severe injuries.

EMS techs worked to revive him the wreck scene, but were unsuccessful.

They pronounced him dead a short time later.
