San Antonio police arrested a man accused of firing several shots in the air on the East Side.
Officers were called to the intersection of Kings Krest Drive and Green Valley Monday afternoon after reports of a man driving through the neighborhood shooting a pistol.
Police went to the suspect's home, but said he climbed out of a window and attempted to flee on foot.
Officers caught up with the suspect and took him into custody. Investigators said they have not been able to gather much information from the suspect about the incident.
"We got bits and pieces of information. He's willing to talk, but what he tells us doesn't make any sense. He tells us he lives in Houston, but he lives here. He's lived here for years," said Sgt. Brian Custard with SAPD.
Police said no one was injured, but a bullet hit a home. Police did not release the suspect's name. He is expected to be charged with deadly conduct and discharging a firearm.
