The San Antonio Fire Department’s Arson Bureau is currently investigating six suspicious fires that have taken place on the City’s East Side over the last two months. The investigation into each of these fires is ongoing, but as of now it is not believed they are all related. Arson investigators are aware of the similarities, and because of the proximity of the fires, investigators are working with the SAPD’S East Substation to closely monitor the surrounding area. Investigators are following strong leads and are confident they will develop suspects in the near future. As of now, no arrests have been made. The public is urged to keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior, and come forward with any useful information.
