SAFD: Cause of building fire 'suspicious'

San Antonio fire fighters had to tackle a fire at an empty east side building from the outside Tuesday night. 

Flames shot out of the doors and windows as fire fighters worked to contain them inside the building on the 500 block of Meerscheidt.

Fire fighters on the scene said there were smaller fires set in multiple locations inside.

Arson investigators were called to the scene.

Damage is estimated at $30,000.

No one was hurt.
