San Antonio Fire Department saddened at loss of 10-year veteran of department

SAN ANTONIO -

The San Antonio Fire Department said on Friday it was deeply saddened to announce the loss of a 10-year veteran of its fire department.

Matthew Whitley was found deceased following a structure fire in his home in Devine, according to the SAFD.

The fire department said they have no other details at this time in regards to that fire.

The SAFD said their prayers and thoughts are with Whitley's family during this difficult time.
