The San Antonio Independent School District Board of Trustees on Thursday approved a $392.1 million operating budget that included pay raises for all permanent, full-time employees for the 2012-2013 school year, district spokeswoman Leslie Price said.
The adopted budget includes approximately $4 million for pay raises.
Teachers, counselors, librarians, registered nurses and speech pathologists will receive an average pay increase of 1.5 percent, Price said.
Employees who are not on the teacher salary scale will receive an average increase of 1.5 percent, based on their pay-grade midpoint, Price said.
The raises will be reflected in employee paychecks based on the start of their contract cycle.
