SAN ANTONIO -

Additional charges have been filed against Kevin Dixon, 20, an East Side man arrested in connection with a scheme that San Antonio police said involved using a website to lure men to an apartment in order to rob them.

Dixon, who was arrested on aggravated robbery earlier this month, was charged with an additional count of aggravated robbery Monday.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, the latest charge stemmed from an incident that happened March 12.

A 32-year-old man told police he had begun chatting online with a woman he met on the social media website Mocospace.

The man said he arranged a meeting with the woman at an apartment in the 4500 block of Lavender Lane.

As he approached the apartment building, a man with a gun walked up behind him and took everything out of his pockets, including his cell phone, wallet, credit cards and car keys, the affidavit stated.

Police later arrested Dixon and a woman in connection with a similar robbery, and eventually linked him to this case, as well, the affidavit stated.
