SAN ANTONIO -

A Southwest Side man installed surveillance cameras outside of his home in hopes of catching the person responsible for taking things from his front yard.

Josh Flores said over the past several months, a number of items have disappeared from his yard and driveway. Flores said the missing items include a car battery, sheet metal, and his son’s bike.

“It’s been frustrating. Real frustrating,” said Flores. “I noticed things missing. I used to have a cheap camera, but that went out, and then I decided, I better put up a system just to make sure it is somebody.”

Flores said on the morning of Sept. 17, a man can be seen on surveillance video pulling up to his home in a tan-colored pick-up truck, and then approaching his home.

“He walked by my fence, in between my car in the garage, grabbed my jack and took off,” Flores said.

Flores said he isn't sure if this is the same guy who's hit his house before, but is hoping someone can identify the man seen in the video.
