SAN ANTONIO -

A man was arrested shortly after San Antonio police said he took $31 during an armed robbery at a taco truck at South General McMullen and El Paso Street.

San Antonio police said the armed robbery took place around 8 p.m. Wednesday on the West Side.

San Antonio police said the suspect pretended to be a customer, before he pulled out a gun and demanded money.

The suspect then fled in a car, but witnesses were able to get a partial plate number and description.

San Antonio police caught up to the suspect a couple of miles away in the 600 block of Cupples Road.

Officers found the $31 and the gun in the car. San Antonio police have not released the suspect's name.
