Eddie Perez, 21, has been arrested in connection with the theft of several golf cars from a local business.
According to an arrest affidavit, the owner of Mission Golf Cars notified police of a break-in at his business in late December.
SAPD detectives investigated and found what appeared to be the stolen golf carts on Jan. 7.
The arrest affidavit stated detectives were pointed toward Perez's direction and arrested him at his job for outstanding warrants.
Perez told detectives he bought the golf carts from a flea market and admitted to knowing they had been stolen, however, Perez would not admit to being the one who stole them.
Perez told detectives he planned to sell the golf carts for more money, the affidavit stated.
Police believe Perez intentionally stole the golf carts and knowingly committed the theft.
Perez was charged with theft and booked into the Bexar County jail Wednesday.
