A South San Antonio store clerk who was found dead Monday morning has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office.
A passerby found the body of 52-year-old Farouk Haifa around 6:30 a.m. on the floor behind the counter of Stanley's Ice Station in the 2500 block of W. Southcross Boulevard.
San Antonio police have not released many details surrounding Haifa's murder, but said force was used.
Initial reports indicated Haifa may have been stabbed to death, but that has not been confirmed by the medical examiner's office.
Anyone with information on Haifa's death or a possible suspect is asked to call San Antonio police.
