San Antonio woman accused of damaging man's car over parking spot
Sally Perez, 39, accused of causing $1,500 in damage
Northwest Side resident Sally Perez, 39, is accused of going too far in a dispute over a parking space and causing more than $1,500 in damage to the other driver’s car.
Perez was arrested Wednesday on a charge of criminal mischief.
San Antonio police said a witness told them he caught Perez on cell phone video immediately after the January 28 incident, admitting that she caused the damage.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that Perez began arguing with a driver who she believed had stolen her parking space in a lot outside a Target store.
A witness told police he later saw Perez damage the man’s car, the affidavit stated.
Police said the suspect was already gone by the time officers arrived at the scene, but they were able to track down Perez through her license plate number.
The affidavit stated that Perez admitted she was at the Target store on that day, but would not cooperate with investigators regarding the damage.
