Second suspect named in food mart beating death
Murder warrant issued for Bernardo Crisanto in death of Juan Romero
Another suspect has been identified in the beating death of Juan Romero.
Police said 25-year-old Bernardo Crisanto (pictured above) along with two other men, beat Romero, 41, to death outside the Diamond D Food Mart on Vance Jackson Road around 10 p.m. Monday.
Family members of Romero said the fatal beating was connected to a perceived pool debt owed by one of the men to Romero.
Police have also issued a warrant arrest for 41-year-old Larry Castro (pictured below right) in connection with Romero's death.
A third man, seen in surveillance footage wearing a grey muscle shirt, is also wanted in connection with Romero's death.
Crisanto is described as being 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 380 pounds.
Castro is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds.
Police are asking for anyone with information as to Crisanto or Castro's whereabouts -- or anyone with information as to the identity of the man in the grey muscle shirt -- to contact San Antonio Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5000.00 for information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
