A 25-year-veteran of the San Antonio Fire Department will be laid to rest Friday days after he died in a rollover.
Lt. Richard Olmo, 44, was killed early Tuesday when he missed a curve and over corrected his pickup truck on Highway 16, about three miles south of Pipe Creek. Olmo leaves behind a wife and two children.
A visitation is scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday at Westover Hills Assembly of God in the 9300 block of Westover Hills Boulevard with a funeral to follow at 9 a.m.
Olmo's family is asking for donations to the local chapter of the Burned Out Survivors' Fund, a charity that helps families rebuild after fires.
