WILSON COUNTY, Texas -

The death of a 23-year-old man in Wilson County could be related to a drug deal, according to authorities.

Sheriff Joe Tackitt told KSAT Dakotah Reynolds was shot to death.

The man's body was found by hog hunters Tuesday near the intersection of Lake Valley Drive and Longhorn Road in La Vernia, deputies said.

Authorities said they believe 18-year-old Kyle McKay might be responsible for Reynolds' death.

McKay was arrested Wednesday on drug charges, deputies said.

Authorities are holding McKay as the sheriff's office works on obtaining a warrant for the suspected murder, deputies said.
