Spiritual healer Alan Ames visits SA area
Australian spiritual, physical healer in town
Alan Ames, a world renowned spiritual and physical healer from Australia visited the San Antonio area for his annual November services. On Monday, he spoke at Our Lady of Guadalupe church in Helotes in front of a couple hundred visitors.
Following a mass, he talked about his conversion from a life of sin to one dedicated to God. A speech many in the audience had heard before and willingly heard again.
“They’re very rewarding, very spiritual,” said Jeannette Carnevale who first heard Ames speak five years ago. “They make you feel wonderful. You feel the healing right away, the peacefulness in the services.”
“I loved every bit of it,” added Maria Moran, another repeat guest. “I got one of his books and it’s on my nightstand. I open it and it fills me with hope everyday.”
Following his story, people lined up waiting for his healing hands which by his count have touched nearly 100,000 residents over the years.
“By the grace of God, many people here in San Antonio have been healed,” said Alan Ames before the service. “It’s wonderful to see.”
“I could feel the healing really on me from his hands, from his talking and his prayers,” said Carnevale who had asked Ames to bless her years ago before undergoing knee surgery.
Ames has visited over 70 churches in the San Antonio area in the last 15 years and he’ll make eight stops in the area this year. Something many repeat attendees say is a testimony to the area’s strong faith.
“Lots of family members have come and have attended at other parishes already this week and I didn’t want to miss this opportunity tonight,” said Carnevale.
“There’s a lot of Eucharistic adoration here in the Catholic churches and that’s very powerful because you’ve got the presence of Jesus here,” added Ames.
Ames will speak at four more churches through Thanksgiving week in the San Antonio area. You can find more information by clicking here.
